Interview with Blogger Sophister Sop
By The Pakistani Spectator • Aug 28th, 2008 • Category: Interviews • One ResponseWould you please tell us something about you and your site?
I pursue janitorial services as my full time job, and hope to have an extensive career in sweeping the streets of the largest cities in America. My site represents my hallucinations of being anything besides a janitorial services provider. It involves the philosophical plight of an aged wrestler and his gripes with society.
Do you feel that you continue to grow in your writing the longer you write? Why is that important to you?
I feel that the quality of my writing has decreased since beginning my Blog. I would like it to increase, but current trends show that writing frivolously decreases writing ability. In conclusion, my writing ability has decreased.
I’m wondering what some of your memorable experiences are with blogging?
One of my most memorable experiences was once, when I visited my site, and I actually wrote a post. Oh, that was a memorable day indeed.
What do you do in order to keep up your communication with other bloggers?
I write irrelevant and nonsensical comments on their serious posts.
What do you think is the most exciting or most innovative use of technology in politics right now?
I think the use of computers is very exciting.
Do you think that these new technologies are effective in making people more responsive?
Yes, computational units have really increased voter turnouts.
What do you think sets Your site apart from others?
I think the color scheme is the main attractant.
If you could choose one characteristic you have that brought you success in life, what would it be?
Apathy.
What was the happiest and gloomiest moment of your life?
Happiest: When I get home and see my beautiful, attractive, and stunning Xbox 360.
Gloomiest: When I had to actually do work for work once. That was terrible.
If you could pick a travel destination, anywhere in the world, with no worries about how it’s paid for - what would your top 3 choices be?
This one ill be serious: #1) Turkey, #2) Pennsyltucky, and #3) South Cackalack
What is your favorite book and why?
This one I won’t be serious: 101 Dalmations, because that is just so many dalmations!
What’s the first thing you notice about a person (whether you know them or not)?
I notice their hair style and whether it is in touch with recent trends.
Is there anyone from your past that once told you you couldn’t write?
I don’t think I have met anyone who told me i could write.
How bloggers can benefit from blogs financially?
Many, I suppose?
Is it true that who has a successful blog has an awful lot of time on their hands?
Yes.
What role can bloggers of the world play to make this world more friendlier and less hostile?
These questions are getting abstract.
Who are your top five favourite bloggers?
That is a tough one. I would have to say I am not sure.
Is there one observation or column or post that has gotten the most powerful reaction from people?
Yes, the one on Hijab, and the one on South Asian Traditionalism.
What is your perception about Pakistan and its people?
I love it and them.
Have you ever become stunned by the uniqueness of any blogger?
I am rather stunning, if you think about it. But don’t think about it too hard.
What is the most striking difference between a developed country and a developing country?
Developed countries insist on imposing burdens on Developing countries that the developed countries did not have to face.
What is the future of blogging?
I think the future of blogging is definitely on the internet.
You have also got a blogging life, how has it directly affected both your personal and professional life?
I remain anonymous, and hopefully I won’t be fired.
What are your future plans?
To be an average father, and to get a PHD in falsafiyya islamiyya.
