Could you tell us what made you decide to blog, and what was the inspiration behind it?
I had just arrived in Uk, and was unable to get a job due to my visa only valid for four months. I was waiting for my visa to be extended, and learnt that there are ways to earn money online and blogging is one of them. Thus Earn free Money was born. my blog url is http://freestuffonly.blogspot.com.

What do you think sets Your blog apart from other blogs?

My blog has a unique design.

Do you feel that you continue to grow in your writing the longer you write? Why is that important to you?

Because I enjoy writing.

 

What do you do in order to keep up your communication with other bloggers?

I comment on their blogs, exchange reviews with them, and visit their blogs to learn from them.

If you could choose one characteristic you have that brought you success in life, what would it be?

Persistence

 

What was the happiest and gloomiest moment of your life?

When my niece was born, when I was saying goodbye to my family at the airport to come to UK.

 

Urdu Blogs have got huge potential, when do you think they will really take on the online horizon in Pakistan?

Yes

 

If you could pick a travel destination, anywhere in the world, with no worries about how it’s paid for - what would your top 3 choices be?

Malaysia, Rome, and America.

What is your favorite book and why?

I’m a bookworm, so that’s a difficult question to answer. My all time favourite is little women and Good wives, I also loved Jane Eyre. I love books by Judith Mcnaught, Sydney Sheldon, Nora Roberts, and Frederick Forsyth.

 

What is your favorite meal, dress, and sport?

Speghatti, Jeans and t-shirt, scrabble.

 

What’s the first thing you notice about a person (whether you know them or not)?

Their eyes, their colour and the expression in them.

 

Do you think Pakistani politicians could benefit from the social networks and things like twitter?

No.

 

Whose Future is more bright in Pakistan; English blogs or Urdu Blogs?

English blogs.

 

How Pakistani bloggers can benefit from blogs financially?

By advertising on their blogs, writing sponsored reviews.

 

Do you think Pakistani bloggers tend to remain somewhat self-centered and really don’t go out of their shells? Is it the oriental style of blogging, or they are still unsure about it?
They are still unsure about it.

Is it true that who has a successful blog has an awful lot of time on their hands?

I don’t agree. I started my blog at the same time I started my job. Yet, I found time to work on it.

What are your thoughts on corporate blogs and what do you think the biggest advantages and disadvantages are?

I enjoy reading them, keeps you updated on the latest.

 

Does it pain you or proud you that we have made a history by electing a uniform general as our president?

Its makes me proud.

 

Do you think this whole emphasis on blogs and whatever online is a significant indicator to show that the web, the social web, is becoming a very important social force?

Yes it is indeed.

 

What do you think where the Pakistani blogosphere is right now?

It is getting better every day.

 

Who are your top five favourite bloggers in Pakistan?

I have only one; Shakir Lakhani.

 

Have you ever become stunned by the uniqueness of any blogger in Pakistani blogosphere?

Not really.

 

What is the future of blogging in Pakistan?

When I was in Pakistan, I wasn’t aware of what a blog was and how it differed from a website. I have a degree in software programming. But I have seen many Pakistani bloggers coming forward now, and working on their blogs. It all seems good.

 

In political respect, can we say blogging a ‘democracy of message’?

Yes.

 

Can Pakistani blogosphere play any notable role in the forthcoming elections, if they happen at all?

It depends upon how many people out there have access to computers.

You have also got a blogging life, how has it directly affected both your personal and professional life?

A big effect. I’ve stopped watching TV and don’t get to relax much. With a full time job, it is difficult to find a balance.

 

What are your future plans?

To work full time from home.
