Would you please tell us something about you and your site? STATIC Youth is a web blog about the Catholic Faith, from the persective of an average conservitive Catholic to be use to help people grow in their faith with thought provoking articles using humor and reverance.

Do you feel that you continue to grow in your writing the longer you write? The main reason i started the blog was to work on my writeing skills and to challange mysefl to reflect on issues that concern me and my faith. I use the blog a an online journal a form of prayer and a way to conect daily with God. Why is that important to you? The blog allows me to spend time wiht God each morning, the fact that others read it and find value in it is a pluse, but it is not the main reason for writing. The blog is a tool I use to keep my faith fresh.

I’m wondering what some of your memorable experiences are with blogging? There are many, but the main one for me is knowing that I have changed a few hearts, including my own, When I get in to the zone, and tone everyting out, and allow the Holy Spirit to work through me, I find that even I am amazed at some of the bolgs that come out.

What do you do in order to keep up your communication with other bloggers? I do no marketing for the Blog, basicly it is my online journal, so if people use RSS feeds or check in daily that is great. Currently I have over 100 visits per day, and that is great. If I only had 1 visits per day that would be great also.

What do you think is the most exciting or most innovative use of technology in politics right now? Web ad’s are fun, but really I don’t think we are useing technology effectivly in our political process yet. In years to come we may, but i think to many people are still scared of the ability of computers.

Do you think that these new technologies are effective in making people more responsive? Not yet, but soon I hope

What do you think sets Your site apart from others? My site is my view, based on my understandings, no one has the same view or understanding as me. God has created us all unique, and thats a good thing.

If you could choose one characteristic you have that brought you success in life, what would it be? Humor. The ability to laugh at myself and events around me.

What was the happiest and gloomiest moment of your life? WOW, now thats a question, but one that I think I can respond to with the same events. The death of my parents, my Dad passed away over 8 years ago, and in his death I learned a lesson that I wish i learned years before, that life is to short to play games with people. I learned to be up front and state waht I expect from friends, co-workers and family. My Mom’s death was a little over 3 years ago, and I learned a lessonthat has forever changed me, I learned how to live by watching her die. She died with grace and dignity. Died with her humor intact and her love for life still shining bright.

If you could pick a travel destination, anywhere in the world, with no worries about how it’s paid for - what would your top 3 choices be? Australia, Russia, Vatican City

What is your favorite book and why? Thats a hard one, I love all of Stephen Kings books, but I also read lots of Dr. Wayne Dyer books. The Bible is up there also. But if I had to choose only one it would be The Catcher in the Rye, to me this book speaks to boys an dboyhood like no other book.

What’s the first thing you notice about a person (whether you know them or not)? The face, I look for kindness in the face.

Is there anyone from your past that once told you you couldn’t write? All my teachers, but mostly myself

How bloggers can benefit from blogs financially? I do not benefit financially from this

Is it true that who has a successful blog has an awful lot of time on their hands? Nope, I work to fit this all in, i have a job pluse I am starting my own company along with my partner

What role can bloggers of the world play to make this world more friendlier and less hostile? The same roll as anyone else, be kind to all

Who are your top five favourite bloggers? I don’t have any, I really don’t read a lot of blogs.

Is there one observation or column or post that has gotten the most powerful reaction from people? “God Wants you too” a blog about prayer.

What is your perception about Pakistan and its people? The ones that I know are kind and good people. I think they are like anyone else in this world, most are kind and good people full of love and understanding.

Have you ever become stunned by the uniqueness of any blogger? Always… I always marvel at the ability of others to write and create

What is the most striking difference between a developed country and a developing country? I have traveld the world, and what always strikes me is the openness of communities, but I find that developing countries are full of people with passion and faith.

What is the future of blogging? Blogging will allow a whole new media that will shape peoples views. Bloggers need to be aware of the power they have, and to use that power for the betterment of the world.

You have also got a blogging life, how has it directly affected both your personal and professional life? It forces me to think, sometimes think about issues I dont want to think about. Forces me to state my stance on issues that i normally would keep to myself.

What are your future plans? To take my company STATIC solutions globaly, to use the gifts that God has given me to create a program that will challange the youth of this world in to a relationship with God.

Any Message you want to give to the readers of The Pakistani Spectator? Thanks for asking me to give my views on the world, and thanks for reading my blog. I hope the words lead to a change in all, a change that will make this a better world for us all and generations to come.
