Would you please tell us something about you and your site?
My site is an art and poetry blog. I have linked my oil painting and drawing to childlike rhymes. I have tried to create a sense of beauty, truth and oneness in my art work. I also have rhymes that are fun and some are sad.
Do you feel that you continue to grow in your writing the longer you write? Why is that important to you?
Yes I do and it is very important to me because I believe there is a link between painting and poetry. My painting improves my poetry and my poetry improves my painting.
I’m wondering what some of your memorable experiences are with blogging?
Just meeting new people and making new friends. There are some really good artist and poets out there. Just seeing their art work has been a memorable experience.
What do you do in order to keep up your communication with other bloggers?
I use a blog roll this is ideal for me, I am linked to a lot of art and poetry blogs. We all look at each other work and comment on it.
What do you think is the most exciting or most innovative use of technology in politics right now?
Technology is a great equalizer I believe it will give the smaller people a bigger say. This is very exciting and will hopefully lead to a peaceful end to all the different wars we are fighting.
Do you think that these new technologies are effective in making people more responsive?
Not really people make technologies, technologies never make the people. These new technologies are only any use to anyone if they are interested in something like art or politics.
What do you think sets Your site apart from others?
Hopefully my art work of oil painting and childlike rhymes. I have tried to create beauty in my art work. I believe beauty should have a sense of truth and oneness about it and should not just stand for its own sake. I have also tried to create a sense of fun in my rhymes.
If you could choose one characteristic you have that brought you success in life, what would it be?
I have not been very successful in life but I have managed to keep my head above water. A sense of
humour is always a helpful characteristic.
What was the happiest and gloomiest moment of your life?
Times when I have been in love have been the most happiest and gloomiest for me.
If you could pick a travel destination, anywhere in the world, with no worries about how it’s paid for - what would your top 3 choices be?
I don’t like traveling much I always think it’s the same Sun setting where ever you see the Sunset.
What is your favorite book and why?
I don’t have a favorite but I like the poetry of William Blake and the poetry of the Romantic Movement.
What’s the first thing you notice about a person (whether you know them or not)?
It is normally their smile or lack of one.
Is there anyone from your past that once told you you couldn’t write?
Yes and they were probably right I can only write childlike rhymes I am not a writer.
How bloggers can benefit from blogs financially?
I have tried to sell my painting and drawing through my blog but this has not been successful. I find my blog takes up a lot of time and has no financial benefit at all.
Is it true that who has a successful blog has an awful lot of time on their hands?
Yes this is very true some people seem to be on their computer the whole time.
What role can bloggers of the world play to make this world more friendlier and less hostile?
The links bloggers have with different people in different parts of the world is a great help. People come together not because of their difference but because of the things they love.
Who are your top five favourite bloggers?
I don’t have a top five favorite but I like most poetry and art blogs.
Is there one observation or column or post that has gotten the most powerful reaction from people?
Yes I posted a painting and rhyme with some anti-war photos and I hopefully this had the most powerful reaction.
What is your perception about Pakistan and its people?
Sadness really, sadness that we are all being dragged into a war that nobody wants.
Have you ever become stunned by the uniqueness of any blogger?
No but there is a lot of very good art work out there.
What is the most striking difference between a developed country and a developing country?
It is difficult to say I think we are all developing in our own way.
What is the future of blogging?
Hopefully it will become easier with the advance of technology.
You have also got a blogging life, how has it directly affected both your personal and professional life?
My blog takes up a lot of my time but I enjoy blogging and letting people see my art work.
In many ways my blog is a part of my personal and professional life.
What are your future plans?
I hope to spend most of my time painting, drawing and writing rhymes.
