The US public is perhaps, among the developed world, the least aware about the world. Keep your people busy with the bread and butter so they have little time to look whats happening around. Thats when its always easy to do whatever you like. A similar thing is also happening in our country right now. Shortage of flour, power shut downs, etc. are offshoots of the same planning. And India knows it well how to fish in troubled waters, thing it has been so apt at and they'll surely do some hunting as the situation is ripe. It is time we think about ourselves and take steps rather than look up to US like we did in 1971.
