ICC T20 World Cup in England and RAIN : Gloomy T20
By Shayan Khan • Jun 6th, 2009 • Category: Entertainment • No ResponsesCricket looks beautiful and jovial when played under the sun, clear blue sky with happy, relaxed and warming up audience. Shrunk fans under umbrellas and rain coats, in the dark shadows of grim black clouds looking gloomily at the wet grounds and the covering sheets.
Players come with heavy and bitter hearts after waiting for long time for rain to stop, grounds to be un-soaked and then they play under the added pressure that the rain might start anytime. No offense intended, but I am pretty damn sure that no decent and happy cricket could be played in the England. Rain and England are synonymous and Rain and Cricket are antonyms.
After watching so much thrilling IPL in South Africa just some days ago under ravishing lush grounds, blue sky, shining sun, one gets so frustrated to see rainy grounds and pitches and wet audience in the England. Hell, Pakistan is the best place for the cricket in this season, and even the terrorists could be talked into it after showing them some cheerleaders exported from IPL.
