Millions and millions of people dont cast their votes. There are many reasons behind this election inactivity. Some of the voters don’t simply know how to vote. Some don’t find it necessary to take the hassle to go to the polling station round the corner. Some find any grudge against all the candidates. Some want to sell their votes at higher price and don’t find any customer. Some don’t have the transport to go to polling stations. And many find themselves entangled in the contention of daily necessities of life.

The truth is that the low voter turnout favors PML-Q, the state party. If the political parties like PML-N, PPP, ANP and others want to make it is difficult for PML-Q to resort to rigging than they have to bring people outside their homes. They should go door to door, plead with the voter, and tell them how crucial it is.
