Has Mustafa Kamal Gone Out of Senses?
By Fatima Tassaduq • Jul 5th, 2008 • Category: Politics • (3,771 views) • 5 CommentsProbably not. City Nazim of Karachi, Mustafa Kamal have got a whiff from somewhere that if he wants to remain the Nazim of Karachi, then it would be safer for him to tie up his destiny with President General (r) Musharraf. That’s what he did yesterday and earned his current and future bread in a disdainfully grand style.
It was simply a bid on the part of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to blackmail it’s coalition partner Pakistan People Party, who despite of all the differences and especially after the terrorism by the MQM on 12th May, they showed big heart and included MQM in the government.
As the PPP is aligning itself with the Musharraf, and Musharraf is looking for new partners, MQM wants to twist the arm of PPP as well as win the space back in Musharraf’s bed. The language used by Mustafa Kamal was typical of his “Quaid,” who runs this terrorist outfit from London, and it was devoid of any decency and his highly condemnable.
So much for Musharraf and his cronies.

You started with an old ugly blame game and the extreme lies in your article. Nazim Karachi is a living legend, your article smells something again like a rottening Punjaban full of hate, disrepect and prejudiced to a particular community (Or a nation if you called Punjabi is a nation).
Nazim has done marvelous job for Karachi under the guidance of MQM chief Altaf Hussain and the enemies could not simply bear the development of Karachi and started cornering an elected Nazim and his city govt by underhand means. This is also a virtue of a govt. who always talked about democracy but they only understand its meaning when they are not in power.
He was superb in his speech and very polite as well. If someone tries to throttle your neck at least you will also try to spit on him as well. Right or Wrong!
I will say reiterate being a Punjabi myself I fully support MQM and I am sure one day they will rule whole country and the world would see how better will they develop each and every part of Pakistan same like they are developing Karachi.
To put all the blame on MQM for 12th May incidents is another example of biased and partial preconcieved notion. I myself (with millions of Pakistanis AND OTHERS AS WELL) watched PPP workers were firig from the jeep of present Information minister and they have also seen ANP workers roaming around with automatic weapons as well.
Nobody can deny this fact. Could you?
For your further information the first political party in Pakistan who introduced terrorism in politics is your PIYARI PPP with its terrorism wing AL-ZULFIKAR, Have you ever heard this name before (I suppose you were as tiny as myself during those days)
THINK BABY THINK!
AT LEAST GIVE SOME RESPECT ( by writing facts and not stories) TO YOUR PEN WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO BE MORE POWERFUL THAN SWORD.
THIS BLOG IS NOT READ BY 80% JAHILS AND POLITICALLY IMMATURED PEOPLE OF PAKISTAN, YOU GUYS SHOULD UNDERSTAND THIS (AT LEAST NOW)

Seems to me the issue here is “the space” in “Musharraf’s bed” - is it envy, jealousy or that dreaded and loved Punjabi movies roaring - Intikaam!
July 10th, 2008
MQM already enjoys that space and at the moment they are the only party who has managed to stay out of troubles.
As far as Mustafa Kamal is concerned, he is a legend.

Hats off to Syed Mustafa Kamal - He is indeed a Legend. I just keep wandering when are we (the experts) going to grow up. When will we ever start to appreciate things and STOP finding Dirt in everything that goes on around us. We have already witnessed the 100 Days .. and I dont know how much longer will the common man have to suffer ?
Old issues are brouhgt back from the graves and the Parleys once again begin in posh atmospheres of Dubai and London. .. ……. There is still time for Pakistan … but only if we decide to wake up !
