Hari Puttar versus Harry Potter

Indian bollywood film industry which is based in Mumbai has always been plagiarizing the works from Hollywood, Lollywood and from other parts of the world. Indian film industry has got immense talent, no doubt about that, and even then they steal is beyond comprehension and logic. There have been many cases where the elements of Bollywood have stolen complete tunes of songs, movie plots or even the whole lot of movies. It has common to see Bollywood acters and actresses copying the gestures, postures and styles of Hollywood celebrities.

But now Hollywood has perhaps enough of it, and they have struck down at the Bollywood with extreme might. The latest bone of contention is Bollywood film ‘Hari Puttar,’ which has prompted a lawsuit by Hollywood studio Warner Bros. Warner Bros say that the movie Hari Puttar sounds like their Harry Potter. Warners’ next Harry Potter installment, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” is due for worldwide release next July. It is the sixth movie adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s books about the young wizard Harry Potter.

The funny thing is that the film makers of Hari Puttar have refused to reveal the plot of their movie and it is circulating in the Mumbai media that Indian movie Hari Puttar is actually a “Churba” of Harry Potter.
