Gillani’s Dreams and Boucher’s Work
By Rohail Butt • Jul 3rd, 2008 • Category: Politics • (3,331 views) • No ResponsesUS Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Richard Boucher is on three day visit to his colony, and while he is here, he wants to make sure that their favorite subordinate does it right in the FATA and on all other issues. While he wants that our Prime Minister has some other aspirations.
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani said:
“We are desirous of a broad-based and long-term relationship focussing especially on bilateral cooperation in trade, energy, investment, science and technology, educational and cultural fields with a view to bringing the people of the two countries closer to each other.”
US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Richard Boucher said:
“The government is not concentrating on the problem because of the judges issue and a cold war among coalition partners.”
Our Prime Minister of Zardari House is weaving sweet dreams over his upcoming dream visit to the land of opportunities, and he wants to talk over there about long term friendship (i.e. long term premiership), but Boucher has seen way too premiers of Pakistan to get into that useless chitchat.
