Gilgit Baltistan Elections
By Tazeen • Nov 11th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 11 CommentsThe present regime has done well to introduce the democracy in the Gilgit Baltistan area, which is one of the poorest and under-developed areas of the world, and most of the people doesn’t even know about the modern world. As this area is going for the elections, there is much hope among the masses, and the government and the politicians must not disappoint these people.
It is very necessary that the government and Election Commission to ensure fair, free and transparent elections in Gilgit-Baltistan. The governor Qamaruzzaman Kaira’s reputation is not that much transparent and to write home about, but he must not play with the elections, like he tried to do in the Kashmir. He must not use the government machinery for the campaign of PPP candidates and let the other parties like MQM and PML-N have their way at will in the campaign.
The purpose of this election must not be to prove that some party is strong or weak and by tampering the elections, the government must not try to portray that they are popular. The objective of the elections should be to alleviate the sense of deprivation among the people of Gilgit-Baltistan should be addressed.

In todays Pakistan, MQM is the only party that truly represents the hopes and aspirations of the middle and oppressed classes.Let’s hope and pray that MQM forms a federal government in the coming years.

There is no need of hope and pray because as long as military gods are dependent on mqm you can achieve all goals of your choice until we are able to set a proper parliament situation and maintain law and order conditions in the control of state.

It is not surprise that Musharraf party wiped off from gilgit but its tout or we say his marketing manager has been able to won at least one seat from there by the blessings of ISI.
The people of Gilgit-Baltistan love MQM. Even those MQM candidates who have lost have lost by narrow margins. This speaks volumes about the support that MQM enjoys. Given the great public service that MQM rendered in different areas of the country, people are waking up to the reality that MQM is the only party that is composed of common people, works for the people.
Fans of plutocrats, kleptocratic despots must wait for the moment when GOD WILLING, this exceedingly popular party wins enough seats to form government in the centre and all provinces.

A unique party whose head is even not willing to come to his constituency is giving speeches to gilgit people in his dramatic styles and people impressed by him in this way and come running to polling station to cast their votes.
Mqm name should be written on guineas book of world record as a party where heavenly bodies come and cast votes for such leadership who never visited the places of elections once in their lives.

People love Quaid-e-Tehrik for the enormous sacrifices he has given for their rights…People love MQM!

N league is not your problem as neither they are in center nor doing any thing in Karachi, gilgit politics.
They are not forcing your leader to hide in UK house.
yes we people are really looking for the traces of his enormous sacrifices which you declared again and again for his country.He hardly spent 6, 7 years in Karachi in full politics after this he and his life in chase of UK passport had started.He took more 6 and 7 years to get this passport and then make photo shoot with it as his ultimate goal in his life.Now he is happily enjoying his UK citizenship, UK house, UK telephonic politics, UK telephone service and UK meetings with your Pakistani representatives.
Keep on loving as it is your IQ level .we can only laugh on you fools and foolish point of views.
People who loved Shah Iran also talked in this way about Imam khomeini when he was in france and Lived there for 27 years but return with a revolution.

Why is it so difficult to accept the mandate of this party?
MQM might not be perfect and still it delivers what it says. Come to karachi and see yourself how they have transform this city. People in Karachi are all praise of the development work done by City government.
Since I am born , it is first time I have seen mega projects are implemented in such a short time. This is the reason I support MQM and hope they can carry out such work in other parts of Pakistan. As for the other parties like PPP , PML-N ( to some extend) .. they just talk about development but since 1988 I have not seen they have done something real… Just talk talk talk..
During present election process two terrorist also been elected by force which is not a healthy sighn for Gilgit,Baltistan especially for Gilgit. M/S Raziuddin & Deedar Ali are the main agents of India and have carriedout murdering of innucent peoples of sunni sect during 2005 & 2009. How they can serve the people of Gilgit irespect of sect etc. It is my appeal to Shia community please reject such terrorist for the sake of Gilgit,Baltistan’s development.
