Ghakhar plaza Rawalpindi Fire : Conspiracy or Short Circuit ??
By Sumaira Bajwa • Dec 20th, 2008 • Category: Misc • 3 CommentsThe owner of Ghakhar plaza, Rawalpindi, Raja Shahid Zafar has said that the fire in his plaza may be due to the conspiracy against the booming business of the plaza and it could be an act of arson because of jealousy. It could be due to short circuit and it could be due to some forgotten burning heater.
The reason why the Ghakkar Plaza Rawalpindi is attracting so much attention is that it’s the oldest plaza in the city of Rawalpindi and it was the hub of Saddar Rawalpindi and the business in this plaza never wavered despite of any economic crunch, recession or the price hikes. The plaza housed almost 500 shops and it was the most busiest commercial shopping plaza. It provided every thing including garments, shopes, gift items, electronics, bridal shopes, music shopes, resturants, tailer shops, wholesalers and jewelry items.
According to the media sources, A fire-ravaged Ghakhar plaza has been collapsed on Saturday. Several people still trapped under the rubbles as rescue efforts are underway at incident site. According to rescue sources, fire in eastern part of the plaza was brought under control on Saturday morning but the fire that broke out several hours ago severely damaged the building that has been collapsed in the afternoon and 25 people are under the debris. The other half of the plaza is about to be collapsed.
Two people have been killed and several sustained injuries in the incident.

It was one of poor designed shopping plaza and raja zafar a three time looser in last elections has surely had new plans in this PPP govt.This way he can recover all his lost money in last lost elections.malik riaz of Bahria is coming for his aid and surely high plans for him.His sympathies for poor shop keepers are very surprise as for his housing plans he used all hook and crook ways to take land from poor villagers on peanut prices but surely awarded corrupt generals with gifted lands now he is trapping PPP men for his flying plans. This is golden time for such characters as all ppp lovers are cashing their loves with ppp dead bodies.lucrative jobs, foreign trips, land ventures all are open to ppp lovers as zardari has only one tool in his kind of politics to please all his men all the time till bad time come,

and another thing i forgot what uilding coul stand if it is in fire for almost a day ?? use ur head !!
