Fake Flour Crisis Looming Large

By Ali Khan • May 18th, 2008 • Category: Politics • (2,903 views) • One Response

When today, I gave myself a break from “yearning for justice” and went to buy flour, I got shocker my life, as despite of roaming about the whole locality and then half of the city, I was unable to find a single bag of flour.

Small-time shopkeepers showed me despair and their inability, while the big fries showed me their evil teeth.  Then I went to a nearby flour mill, and was told to run along. I then went to a village outside of the city to get some “Chukki Atta” and was astounded to learn that villagers were adamant to not to sell that even.

I then called my brother-in-law in the other city, and requested him to send me somehow  couple of bags of flours. He is a government officer, and he then in a government vehicle sent me three bags of flours. Yeah, “Jis ki lathi us ki bhains.”

I believe that there is ample quantity of flour available in the country, but the dearth of flour is because there are also ample number of hoarders available.

Dear ali ,please allow me to have your place of living as you have amazingly expressed this flour crisis as if people around are unfamiliar with the issue .am still unable to under stand that what is the motive behind floating such opinion that perhaps the flour is available to government officials only .please see there is no such crisis as you are indicating in major cities at least .present shortages are artificial and is only to hike the rate s of flour .if you at such peak of active age could not get a single bag of flour then please scrutinize your standing .please see allover the world people do not live on flour there are more ways and manner and modes to live a secure life ,no body will die if he will not get atta. Switch over to sabzi and other elements as the same is cheaply available in villages.Fake article
