Exam Answer Sheets as Roti Wrappers

By Muskan Hina • Jul 5th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 2 Comments

Atta business. Professor checked the papers, counted the marks, sent the marks to the board, and sold the answer sheet to a recycling business owner (yes, the Kabarriya). Mr. Kabarriya sold those sheets of papers to the Tandoor walahs (break makers), and the buyers had the ease of carrying their hot bread with ease. Everyone was fulfilled.

Balochistan Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) is finding itself in the hot waters as a bread maker on Jan Muhammad Road was selling breads wrapped in the answer sheets of FA conducted by the BISE in May 2009. The policy of BISE is to preserve such sheets for at least two years.

The papers contained copies of Islamic study, carrying Quranic verses and though BISE has taken action, this is just the tip of the iceberg and it is found out that many professors are indulged in such nefarious activities. The plight of other education boards is not much different from BISE.
