ENTERING STONE AGE
By Tahir Hameed • Feb 4th, 2010 • Category: Politics, Worth A Second Look • 14 CommentsThough this is the 21st century but i see nations like Pakistan threatening to enter stone age unless there is some miracle. At the moment, economic growth seems to be stagnant and we have entered a time and age where there is no water or electric power. There seems to be a shortage of everything which includes ‘ common sense’ and ‘brains’ as well.
Our politicians and businessmen behave like nasty leeches and parasites. Thanks to their brilliant leadership, Pakistan faces a multitude of problems. However the greatest problem seems to be the leadership itself.
If it were possible, the maulvis, the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats should be placed in a rocket and sent to the moon. That is the only way that Pakistan can manage to come unscathed out of the current quagmire. Believe me there is no other way.
There seems to be a hidden agenda that these politicians follow that is determined by our friends in USA and in the West. These guys and girls are sell outs. They are traitors and rotten apples. There has to be some sort of revolution in this country. It could be bloody and a lot of people could die. But if its in the better interests of the nation why not.
Today we have reached a point where a lot of businesses have shut down because of massive power outages and increasing fuel costs. As a result a lot of men and women have become unemployed. These men and women support families and they are bread winners. Work provides these men and women money that can be used for various purposes.Unemployment snatches away their self esteem and ability to survive.
Pakistan is a poor nation. However inspite of the fact that the nation is at a point in time where drastic measures need to be taken to cut expenditures and lavish spending, it has been seen that our seasoned politicians and bureaucrats are still leading lives that would even shame Kings and queens. It is this very apathy on display that makes one wonder whether we need such men and women in the corridors of power or not.
We dont need uneducated and educated hooligans and parasites, we need men and women who are sincere to the cause of making Pakistan a peaceful and prosperous nation. That my fellow men and women can not be possible without us standing together and clamoring for what constitutes our rights and what is right and not wrong.
It is time that we stop looking towards the PPP, MQM or PML-N, PML-Q or JI for leading us. What we need my friends is a Stalin, a Lenin or Hitler. Democracy can never work in a nation because most of the men and women in politics and those who sit in parliament and senate are feudals. Unless and until we do away with feudal lords and hypocrites and LOTAS, Pakistan can never emerge as a strong and powerful nation.
How can Pakistan become a powerful and strong nation when the very foundations of the nation are weak. There is no unity amongst the people. Hell 40 million children sit out of schools employed in some form of labor. These children are our future. What a dark and grim future that is ! Poverty causes frustration and gives rise to crime and is the food for rebellion.
If people are not able to feed, clothe and provide shelter to their families or if they watch them starve to death whilst nothing is done about it, then it instills within people a hate for the establishment. I hope we dont reach such a point.
There seems to be a lull at the moment. No one truly knows what the future holds for Pakistan. At the economy is being resuscitated by charity being provided to the country by the IMF. Oh I am sorry, it is not charity but it is a loan that has to be repaid. When and how that is going to be done is not clear. But what we do know is that the IMF is going to press for more of taxation on fuel and other utilities. In a scenario where joblessness is high and where the economic growth is low, increasing taxes will make life more and more miserable for the common man.
Increasing fuel expenses and power costs will make food commodities expensive as well. In a scenario where expenses increase at a faster rate than incomes do, life will become increasing difficult for the common man.

Its very candid.
A weak and destablised Pakistan is not in India’s interest. I wonder how is China of any help over here. They seem to be your long standing friend who just supply arms and ammunation but no real help.
I think what i see next on card is a General taking over Pakistan again.I dont think India can be of any help to you. Please manage your own problems i am out of here and i dont want to interfere.
Dear Madhav,
Who asked for your help??
@Akhtar
I just fixed one of them on you tube a few weeks ago and now I guess they are here as well.
They love to argue and they are good at it too, till they are confronted.
After Partition, British and the Hindus left and the Punjabis took over Pakistan. Since then Punjabis have been plundering what was done during British Raj and Pakistan is gradually approaching the stone age that the Punjabi mentality lives in. Punjabis by nature loath human values and intellect, being crude specie that they are. Anyone who disagrees is welcome to cite a few noted intellectuals and people of credibility considered heroes by Punjabis. The heroes of Punjabis have been, over time; Saddam Hussein, Mullah Omer, Taliban, Hafiz Saeed of Mumbai attacks fame, Afia Siddiqui and so on. If you are not a terrorists or one labelled with terrorism/extremism, you can’t be a hero of Punjabis. This kinda of sums up where we stand in Pakistan. No hope of Punjabi changing their mentality soon so no hope of any progress in Pakistan.
India in contrast, stuck with secular law, built on what was left by British Raj and is by and large experiencing progress.
Dear Akhtar,
Pakistan is now beyond repair. So no one can really help. But i still like the article. I hope everyone in Pakistan realises this.
@mobashar
You are just lip service and you are self proclaimed whatever and nothing more. Why dont do something to fix Pakistan’s problems instead of running your mouth over here.
An example of Punjabis paindoness I can cite here. Punjab University the third oldest university of subcontinent and one of subcontinent’s premier intuitions and one which produced Nobel Prize winners in its time; here is what it has reduced to under Punjabi mentality; a hot bed of extremists.
Punjab Univeristy terrorized by Islami Jamiat-Talba under the patronage of Muslim League-N, Jamaat Islami nexus
“Jamaat-e-Islami historically the mother of all terrorism in Pakistan, as its militant student wing, Islami Jamiat-e-Talba (IJT) were the ones, who spearheaded the Kalashnikov culture in Pakistan under the patronage of the then their Amirul Momineen, General Mohammad Zia-ul-Huque, while currently the Punjab ruling party, Muslim League- Nawaz (ML-N) being the heir-apparent of the General naturally finds itself almost on the same ideological wave length, no wonder has given a free hand to the IJT goons in the province thrashing and bullying all those who challenge their terror and in the process the oldest and largest seat of learning in the country, the Punjab University has presently fallen their worst victim.”

Muslim League Nawaz Sharif group supporting extremism in this institution and ruining any possibility of quality education, is the same party that had under its auspices running the training camp of Lashkar-e-Tayyaba in mureedkay when Mumbai attacked occurred. Punjabis vote for PML-N in hoards and will continue to do so, so no chances of improvement.
Dear Ram Madhav,
I am a proud Indian and you would have known this if you have seen any of my comments on some of the articles. I am happy to see that for a change some one had written candidly about actual state of affair in Pakistan that too without pointing a finger towards India for this.
These blogs can be true mirror for society at large to see how and why things are bad and what we can do about it and this warrants serious debate and some action. We have wasted too much of our time and energies in scoring hollow points over each other. India of course can not help Pakistan nor can any other country in this world. We have far too many problems of our own to solve. But we can learn from each other. The way Pakistan is bearing the brunt of supporting fundamentalists at one time, we can avoid similar situation by discouraging parties like Shiv Sena. This is what I mean “learning from each other”. Pakistan on the other hand can put more focus on economy of their country rather than wasting their energies in supporting terrorism. Good economy not only brings prosperity but also generates employment for youth who can not be dissillusioned so easily if they are kept engaged meaningfully.

Dear Akhtar Hussein,
I am glad you are an Indian. I hope u realise how lucky you are. As far as Shiv Sena is concerned they are just a regional party unlike blatant extremism and talabinisation in Pakistan. Moreover we dont have the army generals sword hanging down our head.
So dont worry we will lead and march towards economic growth with double digit GDP in a couple of years. We will get there.
But nobody is realising what a threat China is covertly busy in destablising South Asia. Its plan to keep its neighbours busy with internal issues and make it weak. Pakistan is already become a pawn in its plan and is weak anyways. India has always been a problem for China’s mission to be the only power in Asia. But China has in this misssion made a strong adversary in India. Pakistan will still remain a pawn in Chinese hands.
Just few weeks ago PM Gillani Said: “The Nation Must Ready to face the Crises of Load Shedding, Gas & Petrol.” Great job putting this Tahir Hameed together! Dangle-now that’s the Jiyala PM dream:
The most important things in Pakistan for a Jiyala PM Gillani & President Zardari in order:
1) His health.
2) His happiness, family & friends.
3) Abroad Based – (Im)Moveable Property – Bank Balance.
4) Children who are getting education at any English Speaking Country.
Only for such purpose Ability & Capability is not necessary only English Speaking with Strong Treasure of Vocabulary is Utmost required for such Child.
Above All:
5) Strong Connections with Elite of American, Brits & above all the UK & the USA Corporate Giants Jews.
Thanks a lot! Very Alarming advice to this Poor Nation — We Ignored Pakistanis but love it.
One reason large families are found in Pakistan i.e. under developed like other countries is that they do not even a basic Social care program or basic medical care facilities. Families need their children to support them in old age. It’s easy for you Gillani with everything to pass judgment on other. If you have a child, look in their eyes could you send them out to work for some of Hundred Rupees a week, would you stop feeding them for just a week. Think about its real hard.
Gillani: if only you lived in the middle of nowhere for one day & felt their daily struggle. If only you never met your parents. If only you had one pair of clothing your whole life. If only you weren’t so stupid, you wouldn’t say something like that!
