Dr A Q Khan’s Rhetoric is on Purpose
By A Khokar • Jul 7th, 2008 • Category: Politics, Worth A Second Look • (4,015 views) • 26 CommentsOnce, the thriving business in FATA used to be the production of warriors called Mujahideen for Afghan war in eighties. After Afghan war these warriors were abandoned but the doctrinaires kept their faith in training and heat of this dogma remained on. The controversial breeding of ‘products for war on terror’ that we allowed to breed in the dins of FATA and kept our eyes closed or failed to put a stop, has finally started backfiring. Previously terror was being exported to other destinations but lately; the demons are found knocking at our own doors. Looks like chickens have come home to roost.
The war which was just said looming at our borders is fast creeping in; encroaching step by step inside Pakistan territories. The repercussions are being felt around Peshawar. As expected, tragically capital Islamabad was once again rocked with explosion at the eve of ‘Lal Masjid convention day’ to mark the presence of Terrorism in our country. But the bomb shell that Dr. A Q khan has dropped is much more dangerous. He is reported to have said that Pakistan government as such are the exporters of nuclear proliferation, various nuclear centrifuges and other nuclear designs to rouge states for cash. One can say that man has grown bit old and gone deluded or as they say that; Budha sethia giya hey. All the Pakistanis are praise worthy of his distinguished achievements as nuclear scientist. They recognize him as their saviour and a declared Hero of Pakistan. He is also recipient of numerous awards. He should well under stand that present controversial moves of his confinement to his house in the wake of the incident of 9/11 were taken to save guard the Pakistan’s nuclear interests and for his personal safety only. He needs to stay cool, calm and a man showing his utmost magnanimity as a hero. But; NO, the man is probably specially inducted into something else and he is making the waves in the media…but on purpose. The entire Pakistan, out of respect of the hero was keeping mum on his well known vicious and calendulas proliferation businesses based in Free Trade Zone, Dubai and else where. And also about his lucrative other properties like hotels and malls in the name of his wife Henny along with his grandeur offices and Head Quarters at Timbuktu to run his net works. He seems exceptionally perturbed; probably some of his deeds are severely haunting him?
Any one used to the perks monies like A Q khan will desperately miss out the usual in flow; when it is withdrawn? The home restrictions and confinements imposed on him for his safety and security, after his disgraced confession of clandestine designs on TV resulted in debarring him of his usual perks also. In Pakistan we also have certain other interested parties who would love to use him and grab the seats of power for which they will be willing even to put our endeared nuclear assets at stake. Presently they are finding President Musharraf as their only hurdle in their way. Any allegations to blemish him, especially the rhetoric coming out of mouth of man like A Q khan falling against President Musharraf will be most well come. They are likely to go down low and mean to any extent which takes them to seats of power; even to endanger the Pakistan arsenals of deterrent that our arch rival India and western world is so fearful of and has their desires to eliminate it at any cost.
Above all, we have the same western world which has become our new neighbors, just camping across our western borders busy inducing turmoil in Pakistan and anxious to exploit the broiling situations and move in. They are impatiently waiting in the wings that when Pakistan, it self commits and establish it that there are definitely places where terrorism breeds for exports endangering the world peace and these terrorist are also capable of regime change or a take over. The very actions of our government as well as of Armed forces to carry out a mopping up operation in order to eliminate Taliban factions and others from areas around Peshawar, FATA and Swat, give out enough of evidences for the International media as well as to our new neighbors. Next we must expect few more bomb blasts in the cities like Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi and Lahore. (The first shot we have already received in Islamabad yesterday.)
Few suicidal actions near air bases like Sargodha and especially near our atomic installation like Khushab- Punjab, located in the close proximity of FATA, to establish that our nuclear Weapons are also in danger and may fall in the hands of terrorists easily. If only we recollect that invasion of Iraq, the occupation of Afghanistan and now the planned attack on Iran by US lead forces, hems on two factors only; (1) presence of Weapon of mass destruction and (2) charges of abetting and breeding the terrorists groups. Pakistan position is ligament in both the cases. The desired pretext to incapacitate Pakistan in order to ‘eliminate terrorism’ and save guard the World peace ‘free of nuclear weapons’ is more than ripe?
We all know that in a war; why soldiers kill the enemy; that is; if they do not kill the enemy; enemy will kill them for sure. Accordingly the mouth of this hireling A Q Khan must be sealed before he utters other fabrications tomorrow that he produced the ‘suit box nuclear bombs’ for the devil daring terrorists to carry it easily. (Ghar ko aag lag gai; ghar key chraagh say) He needs to be restricted and silenced. Now or never!

A Khokar, let me say this here:
I am a plain and simple Pakistani and if I could somehow explain my feelings for my country and my beloved people, following would depict and represent my sentiments for Pakistan. And, please, do not interrupt me by bringing pseudo religiousity to disturb ny sentiment, because this is my religion : Pakistan and Pakistanis. And I don’t really care who thinks what about me .

I have already noticed very well that you cant think beyond the capacity of your mental level and thats what you are showing me again and again.Instead of cursing AOM for his shortsightdness that he is denying the reality of who was actually provided protection to corrupt people like zardari under umbrella of NRO and he just want to be bangladeshi becuase we are passing hard times in financial sectors mostly because of Shuakat and Mush policies, you start probing about my background.Sir for your kind information I just tried to enhance his worldy desire on the basis of formality of any procedure regarding embassies who always want guaranteer before expediating such applications.if he would want to be turkish or american like his lover, even then I can repeat my words.
I wish I could do something for poor bihairs but surely I try to give your advice to MQM who made their political building on the name of mohajirs, but their leader has again opted for proud mohjair life in UK rather then doing some revolutanry steps for poor mohjairs who are living in slums of Karachi.

Gotcha! Nazia, see I knew all along that you were well connected person! can you, please, ask your contacts through the Bangladeshi Consulate or Embassy to treat Biharis (who we used when needed and dumped there like used tissue papers) with some human dignity. After all when they decided to part ways from us they also gave up our character and stopped hating their country which is our national sports.

Ashique muusarf
the first man on my home land who blessed this zardari with NRO is your lover mussarf and without his aide he couldnt enter in this political scenario with the team of monkeys that have now occupied all critical jobs in state affairs. So please before cursing zardari and his team please say few golden words about your ideal mussarf and his ISI team who used their brain drains for making convinent procedures for him so that he could have played major role in politics and swap the q league. It is mussarf mussarf only who cleaned the black face of zardari into neat and clean man and people like me are saying that birds of feather flock together.
If you want to apply for bangledeshi nationality then its just only matters of days that you can do it as you would be first among the human in this planet who would opt like that. Please go ahead we would surely give yours guarantee to bangladeshi consulate.

Bangladeshis abroad boost economy by $7.9bn: officials
Tuesday, July 08, 2008
DHAKA: Overseas Bangladeshis have pumped a record $7.9 billion back into their home economy in the past financial year, thanks to an increase in expatriate workers, officials said on Monday.
The amount, to the year ended June 30, 2008, grew by two billion dollars on the previous year, pushing the foreign exchange reserve to a comfortable six billion dollars, central bank governor Salehuddin Ahmed said.
“We’ve received a record $7.939 billion remittance in the outgoing fiscal year, which is up by more than 33 per cent on the previous fiscal year,” Bangladesh Bank general manager Nabagopal Bhowmik told AFP. “It’s the biggest increase we have ever seen since our people started going abroad with jobs.
If the trend continues, we will receive around $10 billion of remittance in the 2008-09 fiscal year,” he said. Bhowmik said that as well as a rise in the number of people working abroad, the introduction of strict anti-money laundering laws had also boosted the inflow of money through legitimate banking channels. The country’s overseas employment ministry said nearly 832,000 people got jobs abroad in 2007, almost double the number the previous year, mainly in oil-rich Gulf countries like Saudi Arabia, and Southeast Asia. In the first six months of 2008, a record 489,312 people, up 43 per cent on the same period last year, got jobs abroad. Many of those were now working in new European destinations such as Romania, Poland and Russia, which were increasingly employing Bangladeshi workers, ministry director Salim Reza said. Officials count the number of Bangladeshis working and living abroad at five million, but unofficially the number is estimated to be eight million if those who have left through illegal channels are included.
Bangladesh, one of the poorest countries in the world with a population of 144 million, counts on the inflow of foreign exchange to fund its imports. The Bangladeshi economy grew by a healthy 6.2 per cent to the year ended June 30, 2008, despite a sluggish investment climate due to a state of emergency, severe flooding and a devastating cyclone.

Public debt swells by Rs373.5bn, foreign reserves dwindle by Rs2.1bn; inflation jumps to 19.2 pc
By Khalid Mustafa
ISLAMABAD: In the first 100 days of the coalition government, Pakistan’s economy nose-dived with massive fall in foreign reserves by $2.1 billion (15.8 per cent), huge downgrading of rupee by Rs8.3 against US dollar, which is deprecating currency in the world at the moment.
Owing to the enormous meltdown of rupee during the first 100 days of the new government, the public debt of the country has swelled by Rs373.5 billion, meaning that country’s debt has increased by Rs3.70 billion per day. These shocking disclosures based on hard facts were gathered after deep investigation by The News.
The external debt of the country stood at $45 billion on March 31, 2008, but rupee during March 31- July 7 of current year period depreciated by 11.7 per cent, which caused the massive increase in public debt by Rs373.5 billion.
According to the top official at Ministry of Finance, with depreciation of Pakistan currency by one rupee the public debt increases by Rs45 billion. Since the Pak currency melted down by Rs8.30 against one US dollar during the time under review, so the country would have to face extra financial burden of Rs373.5 billion in its debt regime.
The market capitalisation situation has also massively deteriorated during the said period showing that the country received financial jerk of Rs933 billion. The market capitalisation was at Rs4,623 billion by March 31, 2008, but it went down by Rs3,690 billion revealing that the country received a financial setback of Rs933 billion ($20.7 billion).
The stock exchange also went down by 3,248 points (21.5%), which stood at 15,126 points by March 31, but shed to 11,878 points just because of the non-availability of required political stability which guarantees economic activities in the country.
Food inflation has also massively increased up to 19.7 per cent, which was 14.1 per cent before the installation of the coalition government. In spite of many attempts The News failed to make contacts with Finance Minister Naveed Qamar and Secretary Finance Furrukh Qayyum to know their side of the story, as both the top men of the ministry did not respond to the calls of this correspondent.
However, the fast deteriorating economic indicators show that the economy is not on the radar screen of the government. This is quite evident from the fact that there is no resolve in corridors of power to provide stable, cohesive political environment to handle the current economic challenges the country is facing. Furthermore, there is total lack of desire from political leadership of coalition parties enjoying power in the country to face the challenges.

I wish I was a Bangladeshi

Johann,
There is not a single country in the world that while trying to procure the scarce technology like of nuclear profiliration and weapon designs have not got it by stealth. These are national secret; you can’t disclose them on your personal vim. Musharraf adopted a method to save the situation and A Q khan’s skin at that time and also escape him the long visit to Guatanamo bay.
The method he adopted; it worked that is all. Thank you him and so should AQ khan be saying.
Musharraf, who is standing on the exit door, is on his way out. But it has some how become a fashion to curse a man and hurl some filth on him who is in any case departing; Like wise A Q Khan has also started cursing him; that is all.
AQ Khan is sheepishly trying to say that probably he was forced to confess some thing wrong then on TV; but why he did it, if he was not willing to do it? Wrong things always haunt.Twisting the facts won’t serve any purpose. He has done it, so he should stand by it. Not like CJ, I M choudhary that he validated Musharraf twice, took oaths under Musharraf PCO twice and now saying; No PCO Judges?
Sheer absurdity!
