Don’t Forget Education
By Sumaira Bajwa • Nov 15th, 2009 • Category: Politics • One ResponseEven the terrorists know the importance of education and that is why they are targeting the academic institutions in the country and not even sparing the female students in full veils. Education is the foundation of any nation and as terrorists want to destroy Pakistan, they are now striking at the education centers.
They did that in Malakand Agency and bombed out the schools and colleges without gender discrimination and used the school buildings for their shelter. They did that in the parts of FATA and also tried to do that in the schools of Bannu and Peshawar. They routinely send out letters of threat to the schools administrations throughout country. Just some days ago, afte the Islamic University suicide attack, the schools and colleges and universities across the country remained closed.
The elements targeting academic institutions have been exposed and they have no link with Islam. Our religion teaches us peace and stresses upon education for male and female. We believe that the terrorism would be defeated and the country would be purged from the menace. The followers of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) could never lose heart and trust in Allah.
The educational administrations must also fulfill their duties and should inculcate courage and tolerance among the students and let them aware of the menace of terrorism and prepare them to combat the tough times. Government should help the educations centers in redesigning and reengineering of schools to uplift their performances.

education is the one of the source, its better to say the biggest source of knowledge and awareness which leads one to distinguish between right and wrong. unfortunately in our county the least part of budget is spent on education. as the title of this post says it is duty on individual, social and government level that the importance of education must not be forgotten.
