Dont Beat Them, Love Them

Pakistani public schools are notorious for their cruel and cold-blooded beating inflicted mercilessly upon young students. On many occasions, cases have surfaced, where a student succumbed to severe physical punishment. I myself have heard events where students got maimed and mentally ruined after getting Spartan treatment from the teachers.

In Pakistan up till quite recently, parents took blind beating by teachers for granted. There was a famous cliché that when parents took their children to school for admission, the happily expected the teacher’s statement that “soul is yours and body is ours”. It was considered quite normal for parents to see their children come back home bruised and battered and mentally shattered. Thanks to the modern culture, this trend seems to be ceasing fast.

This is the major reason behind the ignorance and brutality in Pakistani society. What else could you expect from a child in his adult age, when he has received barbarous beatings without any reason in school? This credit goes to modern culture introduced by the private schools. Despite of their evils, you ought to give them this credit. They have done quite a lot to eradicate this evil culture of student-torture.

Most of the teachers in public schools are nothing more than idiot and ignorant psychos. I was really shocked, when I heard a retired public school headmaster that he misses those days when he had a leather stick and the backs and hands of children, all to himself. He laments that that is why society is degenerating. Hell with him. He and the likes of him should be severely beating in public. They have caused a great deal of damage to the national integrity.

West and every “intellectual” in the town is pointing fingers towards “Madrasahs” for every evil. The real evil has been produced in these public schools. They are the siblings of police stations. The students are treated like animals and criminals. The sadist butchers extract pleasure from scaring the hell out of innocent and nascent minds. Parents as well as students should stand and stop the persecution themselves.

One thing I am so sure about is that had I been studied in a public school, I would not have been writing this blog post.
