Did Shaukat Aziz really understand our Economy ?
By Brig. Did the Shortcut Aziz truly understand and recognized what the heck Pakistani economy was all about? And if not, which seems to be the case, then why President Musharraf gave him that much crucial responsibilities. These are tough questions, but their answers are very much critical too, and it’s not about leaving past and running ahead, and the argument that we should now look forward and bury the past is ridiculous and dangerous and only a plea to let loose the culprits once again to suck the blood of nation.
The thing is that Shaukat Aziz didnt really understand the macro as well as the micro economy of Pakistan, and he was just ignorant of the day to day lives of billions of Pakistanis. That is why we are in the middle of all sorts of crisis from flour to sugar to power to gas to law and order.
