It is this loss of merit that has entered the system thereby sabotaging the entire element including norms and tradition as professionals. Sir, very well said. This merit is very much needed to implement. Now a days, a sons/daughters of rich man hardly even think to score good marks in studies because they know that they will get admission in private professional colleges and later on their parents will ensure their job also by using references and sources. I was used to discuss in my childhood with my father that why Medical colleges gives admissions to highly competent students only. He said that it is to ensure that this competent student will learn this profession in right manner and it will ensure our health. otherwise if weak students will get admissions in such professional universities and colleges, it will result worst for whole nation. Today same is going on. We reads deaths due to wrong medicines, we see bridges collapsing, we see low quality infrastructure, we see no development in software houses etc etc. These all professions are mostly holding my private institutes now a days and their merit is only one "MONEY". who ever can afford can get admission. Bad indeed. Planning is required to develop this country. Just slogans and U turns can not do good for country. Merit assimilates these factors in to separate shining slots so to bring change.
