Dictator on Defensive Stance, Hidden Hands Helping
By Farid Masood • May 10th, 2008 • Category: Politics, Worth A Second Look • (3,160 views) • 4 CommentsHow much a single person becomes strong, but he cannot with-stand to the pressures of a nation. The weakening power instigates it to use every means to stabilize the trembling ship. This has been the state of politics of the state now-a- days.
We must not forget the quake generated by the voters of Pakistan. Even then the authorities tried hard to mould the results in some constituencies but the margin was to big and they had to remain within their margin to prove the transparency of the elections results.
The result was against the ex-government which was actually a rubber stamp government obeying the dictations. In result, a coalition government came into existence with PPP and PML(N). Till now hidden powers had tried hard to make a void in this coalition. At times it seems that they become successful but the results made them helpless.
In the event of oath taking of National Assembly President had to come after some reluctance, the case of judges became an un-swallow-able. Twists of strings around the hidden hands are increasing. Bush Admin is also trying to support directly or indirectly to the newly elected government, which is also not desired. Now the hidden hands changed their approach slightly. The strategy is to play a game inside the homeland and they some how succeeded to capture a copy of the resolution being prepared by the committee to re-instate the judges. Yesterday night was the gloomiest night for Attorney General of Pakistan.
The house was in deep thoughts last night. They shall try hard to save their seats respectively as the time has made them defensive at their stances and retreat is not far away.
They only thing I can advice humbly to the coalition that the move straight with zeal and zest, try to cover loop-holes, remain intact, coordinate flawlessly, and listen to the nation.
Humble piece of advice to authorities that try hard as much as you can, use every mean to disintegrate the masses, only strength at your end is senior admin of forces which has no say in national matters. Beware that that particular copy of resolution or information reaching to you might be misleading in your context. A last chance to do it.

I think nation has got enough maturity and they have realised that they made mistake in choosing opponents of Musharraf.
The reason behind their new mindset is that the coaliton govt. is least interestd in solving their basic problems of power, gas, inflation, non-availibilities of basic food items. The govt. is least bother about taking at least first few steps towards solving these problems instead it has raised the prices of petrol, gas, railway fares by 10-15% in just two months.
The economy is deteriorating quite rapidlly such as stock exchanges falling down, rupee devaluation (10% in just 10 days), capital flight from Pakistan, diminishing foreign exchange and a break in foreign investment.
All this is happening and the Stupid Finance Minister (Ishaq Dar) does not care and he is using all his energies for the restoration of judges and he is on foreign tours with his Samdhi
Nation knows thht these are the real culprits who are responsible for all their miseries; had not they started their so-called movement of restoration of judges (People knows it was actually the movement of removal of Musharraf. Everything was fine until 9 March 2007
Nation knows now that these culprits could not remove Musharraf for another 5 years but they will sure destroy them and the country.
If these politicians, lawyers and media had not adopted such an aggressive and unethical attitude towards Musharraf; he might had given a thought of resignation but now!!
BHOOL JAO!!!

Just saw a report on Geo about the Times top 100 list. Not one mention of Pres. Musharraf. They mentioned the presence of McCain in the list, Angelina Jolie, Rupert Murdoch etc., but not one word about Pres. Musharraf, who is actually ahead in the ratings.
This is the same Geo which, on the first or second day of the Times voting, bored us to death about how Bilawal “Bhutto” Zardari was doing so well in the voting etc. Never mind Bilalwal soon dropped out of the list (not reported by Geo).
But not one word about our President making it to the list! And this is supposed to be a “balanced” channel, which insists it conveys the truth!
