Christian Kidnapping in NWFP and War on Terror

Was it another excuse provided to the NATO and US forces to consider an attack on the FATA area of Pakistan? In a very indecent act of embarrassment, some armed men (Talibans have announced their non-commitment to the incident) stormed a building in Christian Colony near the Academy Town, Peshawar, and they took away 16 Christians with them, who were gathered there for a religious pray ceremony.

The embarrassing incident came out of the blue and before one could think of anything, the kidnapped Christians were backed safely and soundly, but the incident provided international media a field day. It was cited that the armed men threatened the Christians to vacate the building in which they were gathered as it were a part of Madarissah.

Muslims are known to have big heart. What’s a building then? Already due to the inflexible and stubborn approach of Talibans, things are on fire in the tribal region and it’s just a matter of time that US and NATO along with Afghan forces make their imminent assault on the FATA area with the full backing of the world community. Incidents like these also add up to the list of excuses for attacks.

Government must take stern action against the perpetrators of this attack. Christians of Peshawar and elsewhere are also Pakistanis and they love their country as much as any Muslim. They are also worried over the state of the affairs and they also want to see a peaceful and stable Pakistan. They should also show restrain and they should also play their role for cooling the things off.

    Dr Razahaider Says:

Correct selection of topic .This is the approach that will make TPS a successful and constructive portfolio.

Ghazala you have almost covered all threat under the head of the article.

Ghazala people and the government got to understand the chain of events and mode of justification to attend and attack Pakistan and its administered area.

In my opinion these are deliberate acts of terrorism specifically targeted to sabotage and compromise the integrity so to expedite and speed up the process of delayed arrival of these forces.

I do not want to perceive the scene of crime as rivalry in lieu of place.

Ghazala in functionaries, administration, bureaucracy, establishment, international affairs, espionage and terrorism, any thing that requires specific targeted results oriented consequences, things are designed and routed far away where as the results are received at desired positions without being exposed or uncover.

Such operations are called covert operations.

Although the motivated desire of such operations or act seemingly reflects an accident, an enmity, or unconcerned happening nevertheless achievement of goal takes its course through the justified reasonable reservations of the incidence.

It is this theme that is in conductivity.

This is very astonishing that our ambassador Tariq could not be retrieved for so many weeks but this incident took over and was resolved with in the right period .why is it so? Is it a real efficiency of law enforcing agency? If it is why CCPO Peshawar has been removed? Do you think kidnapper took the victim to a place that was already known to the police or LEA? OR was it a simple threat? Fine, if they have been recovered who were the culprits and what was the motive?

In my opinion these incidence, the Danish consulate attack, kidnapping, are sequels
Of the same chain and is only meant to compromise the integrity and justify the entry of forces as
