As I spent a few days with a friend of mine in a local government hospital, I was very alarmed to see the number of breast cancer patients enrolled every day. Breast cancer is the most dangerous kind of cancer which is solely responsible for the death of 41,116 women annually in the US only.  In Pakistan, it is estimated that over 40,000 women are killed by breast cancer every year.  There are more than 110 deaths per day and the number of patients registers daily are 250, of which many die of this deadly infection.

The modern science is not familiar with the causes of the breast cancer but the few medical experts have found an answer to the long waited question, “What causes the breast cancer?”  And their answer is that breast cancer is caused by an infection inside the breast of a woman.  Now another question arises, what causes the infection?  The research goes on boldly ahead.  The causes of the infection are so weird and shameful that I am afraid either this article won’t be published on the side or many readers may bash me, but it is far more important than all the censor stuff to let people know how the cancer is spreading and who is really causing it.

The biggest culprit in the spreading of the breast cancer is the modernized and new-fashioned bra culture.  Women wear tight bras as a part of their fashion but the tight bra costs them much higher than it’s worth.  The breasts are squeezed between the bra and then the internal lobules and ducts get seriously disoriented and they are damaged. As the time passes on the lobules get more and more mashed and thus causes the internal infection, which finally leads to the breast cancer.  Women should let aside the modern fashion craze and they should wear loose, simple and unfastened bras so that the breasts stay at their natural place and no infection gets formulated inside.

Another reason is again related to the bras.  Women wear silky and net bras.  Some even wear leather and parachute bras which gravely damage the internal of the bra without letting the women to know.  The colour of the bra also plays its part.  In hot weather conditions black bra can cause heating inside the bra causing the internal tissues to disorientate. Putting things simply, women should wear clean, plain and soft bras.

Breast cancer is also caused by their partners of women.  Though it sounds shocking but it is the truth that most men cause breast cancer to their wives during sex.  Squeezing and biting on the breast is the natural practice during sex but it is a dangerous thing, as the men bite, they damage the internal lobules and nipples causing bruises which leads to the infection.  Bite marks on the breasts are far more dangerous than a gunshot wounds.  Men should stop such practice during sex as it can lead to cancer and then death of their partner.

Women these days go through surgeries to enhance their breasts.  The surgeries guarantee them the beauty of their breasts but do not assure them safety.  Surgical instruments used and the laser treatment also causes internal bruises which finally leads to infection.

Let’s see the symptoms of breast cancer that is if you are suffering from breast cancer what possible sign show you that you are a victim. Most breast cancer is discovered before symptoms are present, either by finding an abnormality on mammography or feeling abreast lump. A lump in the armpit or above the collarbone that does not go away may be a sign of cancer. Other possible symptoms are breast discharge, nipple inversion, or changes in the skin overlying the breast. Most breast lumps are not cancerous. All breast lumps, however, need to be evaluated by a doctor.  Breast discharge is a common problem and is rarely a symptom of cancer. Discharge is most concerning if it is from only one breast or if it is bloody. In any case, all breast discharge should be evaluated. Nipple inversion is a common variant of normal nipples, but nipple inversion that is a new development can be of concern. Changes in the skin of the breast include redness, changes in texture, and puckering. These changes are usually caused by skin diseases but occasionally can be associated with breast cancer.

Early breast cancer usually does not cause pain. Still, a woman should see her health care provider about breast pain or any other symptom that does not go away. Most often, these symptoms are not due to cancer. Other health problems may also cause them. Any woman with these symptoms should tell her doctor so that problems can be diagnosed and treated as early as possible.
