Bhakkar Suicide Attack

By Rohail Butt • Oct 6th, 2008 • Category: Politics • 5 Comments • Email This Post Email This Post

The war is spreading and now it has reached to the very remote and far flung areas of Pakistan. The astonishing attack came on the Rasheed Akbar Khan Noorani’s house in the Bhakkar and in that attack more than thirty people died and many were injured.

Rasheed Akbar Khan Nowani is the member of national assembly from the area. He contested the election independently and then joined the PML-N. He is also injured seriously in the attack. People were exchanging Eid greetings with the MNA at the time of the blast.

That is very alarming, and after the attacks on the big cities like Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta now the terrorism has reached to these remote areas, where the news travel very slow, and it is evident from this incident. The attack happened one hour ago, and the news reached to the media more than after one hour.

  5. Sir,
You’re such a schmuck. It’s Niwani, not Noorani. And Bhakkar is not a remote area, it’s the heart of Thal. And it’s one phonecall away from a TV channel.
And you forgot to mention he is a Shia and has told police he had been receiving threats from Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, a group quite active in the neighbouring Dera Ismail Khan.
