Benazir Portrait in Place of Quaid-e-Azam
By Rohail Butt • Jul 6th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 18 CommentsAs if really Zardari cared for it, the staff of the President House put the photos and portraits of Benazir Bhutto at every imaginable places in the President House just to appease the diehard workers of the PPP. As at every occassion in the presidency, the cameras doesn’t fail to relay the pictures of Benazir Bhutto popping out from every wall and at every mounted place.
The funny thing is that Quaid-e-Azam’s portraits have also been replaced by the widow of Zardari in the Prime Minister House, and PM has noticed it just now. A private TV channel reported last week that portraits of the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah had been removed from the Presidency and Prime Minister House.
As soon as the news broke out, Presidency spokesperson and Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman Kaira called it “false, mischievous, unethical and highly unbecoming of any professional media outlet and professional journalists.” Now it is heard that the Quaid portraits are back and now PPP workers have nothing to celebrate any achievement of thier party head.

maybe mr. zardari wants his late wife to be the mother of the nation and that would make him father of the nation !!!!

Different parts of population cannot choose different mothers of the nation. A mother has to be one for the whole nation and in our case, it is Madar-e-Millat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, sister of our founder, Quaid-e-Azan Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

it will seem strange to have imported Parents of nation !
Altaf Hussain may be called as the Father of a Movement. You cannot choose your father and so can’t the nation. People and nations are born of fathers and not vice versa.
BB has very rightly been named as the Daughter of the East.
We have instances of imported prime ministers but never heard of imported parents.
Zardari has no love lost with BB. He is just trying to cash in on with her picture.

Our nation is Impressed by Big titles and large names, with additons.It is mostly used. Like example Mualana hazrat fasahat khan khadimay millat. Looks nice. In regards to BB, this pillis is being froced down our throats we like it or not, This ideology which is being created, will benefit Balawal legacy, This ideology is now a PRODUCT, which come in Label of PPP,BHUTTO,Etc.If we have nemerous fools in a country, then democracy is very painfull.
I think like number plates we shuld create a dept for titles, and they can be sold to higest bidders, I wuld like Mazloom-e-pakistan.

Benazir portrait is in quaid’s place as it is zardari’s vision.Zardari is president of Pakistan due to shortsightedness of benazir who as an educated and liberal lady selected the worst life partner.When leader makes deadly mistakes, it is nation and his/her followers who suffer actaully and that is what we are facing in the form of his presence in State house.
Quaid has no role in zardari’s life , I am sure he is unaware of DOB and DOD of our Quaid or even would be unaware of his real name. so he has no interest on his photo.its only Benazir who gave colors and unlimited wealth to his failed life so he is doing as per his mental ability nothing to be shocked or surprised from the acts of such low caliber high profile personality.
I wont say anything regarding Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto (I believe he was intellectual in his own right) and Benazir Bhutto who was a revered leader (though some question credibility) but the legacy left to Mr. Zardari and in turn to Mr. Bilawal (even names were modified to fit in), I believe it will turn into a great loss for PPP and disaster for Pakistan.
To begin with - The pictures showed is just one part of the lobby of the Presidency. Obviously it has been taken in the family section of the Presidency and the pictures on the wall are of the Bhutto-Zardari family. Stupid of someone to let these guys be photographed in the family section. However, everyone who has ever been in power in Pakistan has their picture up, inclusive of Zia and Musharraf. The Quaid’s pictures are very much present in the Presidency, as evident from pictures of Karzai’s visit. Can we please get a grip and quit the self-righteous patriotism - hell, can we get a grip and stop attacking leaders that have become shaheed for this nation and who are currently working desperately to keep it running?! Bloody ungrateful!

if u ever turn on the television u will c that zardari puts up BBs photos everywhere n instead ov the big portrait of Quaid wich existed when MUSHARRAF delivers his speeches is now replaced by BB
