History repeats itself. India became India and East Pakistan and West Pakistan. Then Pakistan became Pakistan and bangladesh. It is changing political geography in the sub continent which is still active. Further balkanisation is very much on cards because pakistan is conglomerate of non Identical entities. Hence it is highly possible for pakistan to disintegrate.

A very valid point about USSR. Is independent nationalist Russia under Putin is easy meat or Gorbachev’s Soviet Union for the USA? You tell me.
Again Independent Bangladesh is more good for India or a disgrunteled east pakistan fighting even today against united pakistan.Which is more good for India. You tell me.

Does it mean that if one belongs to a particular religion they should raise their voice against bad or wrong things.

Is this what taught to us in schools? Is this what Islam represent? Isn’t Islam known for the liberal views that are present in the religion and the pleasant nature of the religion.

Kashif, the hardline clerics are the people who are destroying your religion and not the views that people like Maria raise.

your 3 paragraph story says nothing on the role of home-grown Jamat Islami Terrorists. WHY? What about the Gulberg Attack? People like you then said it was done by Indians, but NOW IT IS CRYSTAL CLEAR THAT ALL THOSE TERRORISTS INVOLVED WERE RECRUITED AND HARBOURED BY Jamat i Islami!

After all, if outsiders are involved in this, as u explicitly imply, then , they must be having some local sympathizers.

I just can’t agree on what you hypothesize…..people like you only find scape goats for all things evil, never pointing to the root cause, which in this case is HOME GROWN TERRORISTS, Mainly Jamat i Islami and its allied terrorist entities.
