Mahtab Bashir
I’m not a casaNOva, I just try to observe things around me. Millions saw the apple fall but Newton was the first who asked WHY?If I was a painter, u would be my painting. If I was an author, you would be my story. If I was a poet, you would be my poem. But unfortunately I am a psychiatrist:)

I was born on a rainy day of Sunday morning in Islamabad on 9th of Nov & survived till to-date. My identity lies with my family, my religion and my up-bringing. These influences gave shapes to my psyche & made me the human being I’m today. I have been inquisitive by nature & am a voracious reader. I read everything, be it a list of ingredients on a bottle of Jam or advertisment in a barber shop. I read newspapers in abandon. A lot of youngsters worship cricketers or actors/ actresses, I find my gods in Michalengelo, Maulana Rumi, Khalil Gibran & Iqbal. I take pleasure simply in basking in the glory of their works. Now i want to be something, may be a good person foremost. My Personal Blog is here.

Dan Tow

Dan was born and raised in California, in the US. He married Parva Oskoui, from Iran, in 1991. His daughter, Tira, was born in 1997, his son, Abraham (who goes by “Abe”), in 2002. He is currently making a living in Palo Alto, California, as a solo database-tuning consultant, which he finds a lot of fun - kind of like solving puzzles for a living. When he finds time free of family and career demands, he enjoys science fiction, political theory, futurology, history, games, and puzzles. He has only ever blogged at The Pakistani Spectator, beginning in July, 2007, mainly his musings on political theory, which mainly aren’t especially topical to any news events, so he hopes you might still find them relevant, today.. His education and career details are in his resume at his website. His interview is here.

Chaudhary Naeem Sidhu
I always wished to be in company of wise, well-read and thinking people. That’s why I contribute in The Daily Express and visit TPS with sole purpose of learning. Pursuit of knowledge takes me to Law College for sharing what I have learnt in my life with my students. Speaking, writing and reading are surely helping me to learn… Learning for enlightening myself to achieve goal to be a better human. I always wrote under title of “Jauhar Nama” because of two reasons: I belong to town Jauharabad; and I seek to unfold the ‘Jauhar’, that is the nucleus..

Amna Gilani
She is very new to blogging, but not new to writing as she has been writing her journal since her childhood, and thankfully she has accepted the TPS’s request to not to publish those journal entries here. Rather she is more interested in politics, Lollywood, Bollywood and Hollywood. amna

Danish Hasan

I’m an IT professional and have been writing since a long time. Writing has always been my passion. I am also interested in social work and want to work on education. Hopefully someday I’ll be able to set up my dream NGO which would give free education, boarding and lodging to poor children. I believe that an independent judiciary is a must if we want to check corruption and establish supremacy of law. Most of our country men lack awareness which is due to illiteracy. In my free time besides writing I like to listen to music. I can be reached at danyhasan@gmail.com. danishhasan
