At Our Own Feet ????

When Benazir Bhutto was Prime Minister in her first tenure and the foreign exchange reserves of Pakistan fell to all time low, Shahid Javed Burki was sent to China to beg for money, which our friend didn’t refuse and provided us with the required money, but the Chinese premier told Burki “Please try to be really independent and be on your own feet.”
Now once again our President and Prime Minister are doing visits to China back to back. United States is twisting the arms of Pakistanis and their assistant secretary Richard Boucher is telling them that they are not going to get any dime from them unless they “do more” in the FATA. Pakistanis can only appease the Frankenstein of US by committing self suicide.
When will we wake up from this slumber? When we will be able to be on our own feet? How long China will feed us?
