At last Promised Change is Here
By Dr. Hassan Isfahani • Jun 4th, 2008 • Category: Politics • No Responses •On 18th February, Pakistanis voted for change. The sun of the next morning brought hope, happiness and light. People were smiling again, and they were anticipating the change in the air. They were enthralled for the promised change, and they were quite ecstatic watching their democratic leaders winning the elections by a thudding majority. Forces of change had won, and the change was imminent.
At last after more than three months, they have now got the change. Change is here. Yes, the whole course of the time has changed in the fatherland. We are now living in the changed times now, and we have surged ahead, hurtled ahead in a split second. The new rulers have fulfilled their promise of change, and now you cannot blame them, and now there is no reason for complaining.
The time has changed and but everything else remains the same. But at least something has changed. The new government has shown that it could take decisions, the decisions which could affect the whole nation. The decisions which are being implemented and followed without any Long March or strike or any other form of protest.
Another thing about this change in time is that this change will also change and the time would come back to its previous place, and even then everything else will remain the same.
