“Since a politician never believes what he says, he is quite surprised to be taken at his word.” – Charles de Gaulle
The cruel, horrendous, gory, sanguineous, direful and horrific assassination of Benazir Bhutto cannot mask her weaknesses, and the biggest of them was to not to keep her words, and that is what has been inherited by her spouse, who is now co-chairperson of her party, the Pakistan People’s Party.
On 5th of August, when Zardari was sure that Musharraf has decided to use 58(2)B because there was every chance that on that day Mian Nawaz Sharif was about to announce parting ways with PPP from the coalition government, Zardari once again promised with Nawaz Sharif that he would restore judges according to Bhurban declaration within 72 hours of impeachment/resignation/ouster of Musharraf. Nawaz Sharif refused to believe it. Zardari brought in Quraan Sharif, but Nawaz Sharif refused and said that he didn’t consider it appropriate to bring in the most noblest of noble book on earth in the political affairs. Zardari once again gave his WORD that he would restore judges within 72 hours of Musharraf’s removal.
After the resignation of Musharraf, when Nawaz Sharif along with his acolytes went to Zardari House, Zardari forced a “Gulab Jaman” into the mouth of Nawaz Sharif and said that right now enjoy and celebrate the Musharraf’s ouster and we would talk about judges tomorrow. When tomorrow came, the same delaying tactics coupled with lifeless smiles of Zardari and “Kya Kehtay Hien” mantra of Farooq H. Naek were dancing everywhere, testing the passions of every one.
Now at last Nawaz Sharif has clearly given the deadline, and threatened to quit if judges are not restored till coming Monday.
While we are at it, another news is that in the “greater national interest of country” Zardari has decided to become the President of Pakistan. So much for the NRO.

Man of Her Words….
Please invent any other word instead of “HER”….
Saleem, By “HER” I meant Benazir’s.
Thanks for reply. Dear I was thinking you are making joke of him. Because in society, people calls a man…female, when he not acts like A MAN. but I think…this man not reaches upto that level..where we can even call him a Woman. Females take care of their promises but He… my foot!
