Arrival of Mr Nawaz Sharif
By The Pakistani Spectator • Sep 8th, 2007 • Category: Uncategorized • No Responses •Mr Nawaz Sharif had announced his arrival date as 10th of September 2007, through a routine flight. It is witnessed that leadership of PML(N) of Rawalpindi is facing tough time now. Many leaders have been arrested and more than 100 workers are with them. From yesterday motor cycles are being captured @ 50 or more per day by a police station, multiply it with number of police stations you will get the actual figure.
Like the agitation we witnessed against publishing the caricature of The Holy Prophet by various European countries, again is the time for many senior police officers to show their sincere attachment with the current administrations for Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore etc, to be in the good books and to get benefits.
The arrival of Mr Sharif and his family is a fact. Whether it happens now or then. It is also a fact that the tenure of current government is near to completion. If free and fair elections are conducted, there is no future for PML(Q) and allies. Even the existence of PML(Q) is in danger. So the sword of deal with Ms Bhutto also hanging on the heads of PML(Q) leadership. But the coalition of PML(N), Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf and Qazi Hussain’s Party will be a tougher time for the rest.
Guantanamo bay would be a better choice to keep the PML(N) leadership for a tenure.
