Antagonism Towards Judges by PPP

It’s the struggle of nine years of the Pakistani nation. People have sacrifices a lot. It’s a joint rejoice of lawyers, civil society, political workers and the people of Pakistan as the dictator has gone. How could one person give indemnity to the dictator just to save his own vested interests.

This sort of affairs must end. No political part or politico could give indemnity to Musharraf now. It would be akin to reopening the door for the future dictator. Giving indemnity to Musharrf means rectifying the killing in Lal Masjid, the operation in FATA and Balochistan, the hijacking of judiciary, the weakening of federation and the destroying the pillars of Pakistani society. Dont let him take democratic forces hostage. Who in the hell he is to bargain that he would go if he is indemnified.

Musharraf has to face the moves also and he has to face the justice and he has to face the people, who have remained in sheer misery and agony due to his Draconian policy. Musharraf’s legacy must not be forgotten and forgiven. After the impeachment of Musharraf instant deterioration in relations within the government cadres shows the ill will of some pols and that has really filled the mouths of people with bad taste. Flashing teeth and spiritless smiles are not going to soothe people.

PML-N must not cave in to the expedient whims of PPP this time.
