“Another morning…the dawn of another new day…”

I wish I could say that, but I can’t. Yesterday saw the death of 60 of my brothers…today when I thought that this new day might bring some consolation to the tears shed yesterday …another explosion…this time a time device targeted on a police inspector…

Well, to fight another force is alright…but why kill the innocent people on the streets, they go about in their daily lives, working or trying to reach home to their loved ones…

Why are the killings are directed towards the absolutely innocent?

Is this what the agitation all about?

And the injured lucky enough to come out of it alive…are barely alive most with some sort of disability…and the nightmare of constant replays everyday…

The so called leaders, in the lap of luxury & behind double security fences fail to realize the common man’s distress…

The world famous dacoit - now nominated for becoming the head of The State…this is the condition of democracy in the country…

But I am not hopeless…I believe that if the common man realizes that he has the power & not just power…but the ability to make a difference…there will be a change…

A change that will probably not change the political scenario…but the social one…

The need is for effort…effort on our parts not what is required from him…

In the end we will only be responsible for actions on our part…& what we could have done but didn’t do…

Let’ s get up…to make effort…

Let’s atleast…just wake up!

United we stand…divided we fall…
For the Unity that will strengthen us…
