Altaf Unnar of PML-Q Under Arrest

Former provincial minister for power and relief, a prominent leader of PML-Q in Sindh and an old adversary of Zardari family has been arrested and put on body remand of 5 days.

According to the media reports, He was arrested in a case lodged with the Budhapur police on the complaint of MNA of Pakistan People’s Party, Dr.Azra Pechuho, the sister of PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari. Earlier police had refused to lodge the case for which an order was passed by concerned additional district and sessions judge on application filed under sections 22-A Cr.PC by Dr. Azra. The application was filed after the MNA allegedly came under firing on February 10, 2007 in a clash outside a polling station in Budhapur during by-elections of PS-71.

According to the PML-Q spokes person this is one of the many steps taken by PPP government in Sindh to victimize the PML-Q workers and leaders and they have produced a list of 2000 cases registered against their workers throughout Sindh.

This is pretty much alarming. If anybody has committed any sin, then he or she should be punished but given the political vendetta history of Pakistan, this seems yet another round of political victimization. The new government should focus on the gigantic problem instead of these petty issues.

    this is what was expected .our pakistani wether its nawz or zardari or any dick and harry .all are believers of such political rivalry .infact they are habitual in their working style and this is how they start their planning to be represented for execution in next jail term.you see i m not in favour of these pmlQ but the point is dont these elements see that at what stake they have brought pakistan upto due to their attitude and criminal confiscation of opponneent .what else do we want in our nation now .the attitude has itself produced disaster to the nation in the loss of ever important leader like mohtarma benazir bhutto ,zulfiqar ali bhutto ,liaqat ali khan and many .i m really fat up of my self ..i have gone through so many real facts aof these figures and so called present leaders that if i start calling my memmory ,i will definately love to be born some where else .
    in my opinion it is the responsibility of concerned law making agencies ,judiciary and above all the president ,the prime minister and and the military chief .to look in to any matter that regards importance in the internal and external integrity of the country .we got to restructure our design of governance .a person who is been selected as primminister should by law be transformed in to the state man .we at such a highest chair of state can not neglect by saying thats its all political .system has to influence its weightage now in the form of nuisance and the upper hand .life ,property and living of indivisual is to be guarded by all elements of citizens ,and here no such power existing in the form and shape of institution can get rid by ignoring its responsibility.political forces and administrative forces should ideally be seprated now .it is very astonishing to see minister probing in to a irrational remarks against a previous office holder and police officials are sitting and guarding his press conference,there are laid down norms and nature of services and at the highest office of the service ,what is the point of getting and indulging in to political rivalry and litigation and establishing your belongings as political opponent .after being presented with such irrational and victinising execution of previous leaders to himself,mr zardari is expected to react as polish leader as he has shown by doing and showing his body move ,and presentation and indulgence of such activity by any office bearer of his party may result in a catastrophe for which pakistan can not withhold this time .
