Look at the credibility of IMF
it is granting us loan when we have notorious NRO management in all over the govt.
It is giving us loan when our NRO president who is convicted in swiss courts for kick backs and money laundering is leading one of richest parliamentarians of our history.
It is bestowing us loan when we are receiving news of scams on daily basis regarding money and land cases and our govt seems are not interested in such scams as all energy is being utilized on begging techniques.
It is granting us loan in the presence of PCO judges opted by military dictator and our so called democratic structure is giving full security to such judiciary that is acting like puppets in the govt system,
It is permitting us loan after seeing the high class salaries and benefits of govt personals in federal, provincial bureaucracy, army, ministries, assemblies and advisers to govt too.
So now our middle , working and lower classes should be ready for paying more sacrifices to country as all ruling mafia is giving congratulations to each other after approval of this loan.
This IMF is now inter mutual fund for our corrupt management that will only add miseries to general public.
Nazia, You wrote so aptly. I appreciate it. You have a patriotic outlook. What you mentioned is absolutely true. For Urdu press, a columnist has to live in certain boundaries so what I could not say, you said it.
Lets hope the IMF, World Bank directors may force our ruling elite to abide by certain fiscal discipline.
Another issue is that USA and Western powers do not want a bankrupt Pakistan as they fear even more critical threats for them if Pakistan lose its financial structure. They rightly apprehend that if Pakistan may suffer even more severe financial melt down, it would inflate the militancy which already has reached its heights.
