I have to the Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases days back to see some one. Suddenly I saw some people bringing a patient and they took him in the Emergency department. As they let him on an empty bed and started looking on the faces of the Doctors there. After few minutes a female nurse took the ECG and just delivered the ECG report print out in one of the hands of the patient’s attendant. At the same moment they were asked to get the Emergency form. One of the attendants rushed the counter, which was in the new building. My God the entrance floor of the new building was of tiles and one who is in emergency can broke their legs when rushing to pay the emergency charges pf PKR.100/=

Just imagine if the patient has only one single attendant and if the one is a female then how he or she will manage to run another building though a very little away from there but Sir jee, at that moment of emergency a little distance seems to be a long bridge.

We are very much thankful for the facility of this hospital to the City Government but above was a painful experience for me.

Secondly after 8 to 10 minutes though this is not a long time but in that special case of emergency and also keeping the importance of Emergency Ward, the attendant of the same patient was looking on the empty faces of the present doctors as what they are doing, just sitting and chatting on their cell phones.

After some time one of them gave the honor to see the ECG of the patient and said this report has an error and that may be taken again.

May be I am a very coward and do not have courage to say any thing at that moment, and yes I am a coward, requesting for not giving my email information to anyone. GOD forgive me.
