A Polling Station in the Presidency
By revo • Feb 11th, 2008 • Category: Pakistan Vote'08, Politics • No Responses •Ground- breaking ceremony of Neelum-Jhelum hydropower project was held in Aiwan-i- Sadr Islamabad. It was scheduled to be held on actual site which is Chattar Klas village, located around 20 kilometers south of Islamabad along Muzaffarabad-Kohala road. The reason of changing the venue was stated as the weather has not supported the ceremony to be held at actual site.
This change is decision have costed many lac rupees as almost 200 officials were ordered to reach Kashmir house Islamabad and the ground breaking ceremony of the project will be held in Aiwan-i-Sadr, Islamabad. We also witnessed (on Saturday) that sky began to clear before noon as predicted by the concerned department.
We also may setup a polling station with in the premises of Presidency if the weather does not support going out to cast a vote. Another option is to cast the vote by Pakistan Post.
We hope the weather that day may be clear for holding a free, fair and crystal clear elections on February 18th.
