A Billion Dollar Liability

President Musharraf took over on October 19, 1999. General public didn’t went against him and welcome his quo even he became in power by over-throwing an elected government.
Time passed so quickly till 9/11 of 2001. He bowed down his head after a telephonic call from US of A. This was the right time for US of A to dictate her instructions to a dictator already instructing 160 million people for almost two years.
We went on war on terror exposing our army and public to it, both of them died in many events. I may not be able to comment on Wana or Waziristan exactly but the news from there informed us about killing of innocent people including infant children.
Then came the issue to undermine judiciary on March 9th 2007, the nation went under turmoil. Then the whole country was shocked on July 2nd 2007 when military surrounded the Lal Masjid & Jamia Hafsa and this drama ended with dead bodies of many hundred innocent students including the Khateeb of Lal Masjid.
After the reinstatement of deposed Judges on July 20th the mini Martial Law was imposed in terms of Emergency to oust the judiciary which was going to decide the candidacy of General Musharraf as per the law.
These all steps are appended to recall the crises getting deep as days passed. From 9/11 till now as our American friends tell us that they had invested US$ 10 Billion in war on terror in this region. These billion dollars should be accounted for where it had spent?
From March 9th last year till now nation has remain none productive in any field of life, lawyers forced to waste time and money to strike against the ousting of Chief Justice of Pakistan and then post Nov 3rd dummy judiciary. Print and Electronic media was raising its voice against un-constitutional acts.
Relatives of missing persons struggling hard to get whereabouts of loved ones. Army remained involved in backing the Musharraf’s acts as he was then Army Chief. Businesses remained occupied by retired army officers who even don’t know about the basics of any business, resulting in downfall of the whole economy.
If we calculate all above services working hard to resist the un-constitutional acts in terms of money then one comes across the figure more billion dollars have been wasted by the nation in last 15 months than US of A has spent in Iraq & Afghanistan in post 9/11 era.
Musharraf and his allied forces working & supporting him must be accounted for this loss of nation’s wealth, loss of lives in so-called war on terror, killing in Lal Masjid and Jamia Hafsa and selling innocent people to US of A, and last but now least lying with the nation on many issues of importance to the nation and the country.
Many rotten eggs like Ahmad Mukhtar etc termed the president as an assets, but the view of the nation is against such judgment, he actually has become a liability.
If a small country like Nepal can make a consensus with 560 votes out of 601 that a 240 years kingdom must end now, why we can’t end a 9 years dictatorship. And no future dictatorship ever in future till the Judgment Day.

Actually there are still some people in Pakistan who are living in past. They think that bloody civilians are not capable of ruling themselves. Just look at this blog, and you would find such persons, who believe that they are all in all in wisdom and insight. They last out at everything which denies dictators.
Education is the key, and we have to get rid of these old goats.
Impeachment of Musharraf is the burning desire of every true Pakistani.
Ahmad Mukhtar can still use this liability.

I will tell you what Pakistani nation wanted now is MATIAL LAW OR 58 2 B, and the return of March 2007 so that people start living again a much better life than it is now.
