The Pakistani Spectator

It’s true that our rulers have been taking billions of dollars from United States, and they have always kowtowed the line dictated by the masters in Washington, and it’s also true that in the name of war on terror US is virtually controlling some of our areas, but they must know that there also exist 175 million Pakistanis in Pakistan, and in actual Pakistan belongs to these people.

In a nasty and disgusting attempt to insult Pakistani dignity, America has provided Pakistan a list of eleven demands which state that Pakistan should allow American citizens to come without Visa restrictions and also go to the neighbouring countries without Visa and they could keep the arms with them on American permits. This list also demands that all the United States contractors must be exempted from the taxes and no record must be kept of their movements within Pakistan.

The poor America has also asked Pakistani government to allow US vehicles and aircrafts in Pakistan and exempt them from parking and landing fees and also let them use the telecommunication system without any charges, and they have demanded from Pakistan that no laws of Pakistan would be applied on US citizens.

If you are a US citizen and reading these lines, put a hand on your heart and tell me, is that a decent list? Do you really think you belong to a super power? If you are a Pakistani citizen, then remember, constant vigilance is the price of liberty, and your responsibility hasn’t ended after voting on 18th February.
